Z followed his partner, making sure that the cat was still on his shoulder. The booth wasn't as busy as it usually was, that made it even easier. Z walked over to one of the games that was just finishing up. "Alright." He said, putting his pin on the table "Who wants to play me?"

A black haired boy put his pin down on the table too, nodding with a smirk. The two began the game as another boy yell "SLAM… ON!"

The game actually took a while. At first, the other girl definitely had the lead. Vex was struggling to keep up for the first half, and she almost lost more than once, barely getting her pin away from the edge of the table before the girl's could knock it off. She was better than Vex had anticipated certainly.

But once Vex got really into it, the tables quickly turned. She was a little rusty, but the practice had paid off. After several minutes, she finally knocked the girl's pin off of the table. The blonde caught it in midair, smiling. "That was fun!" she said, "You won. You're really good!"

Vex nodded. "Well, I've had practice. Just do it a lot and you'll get better. I'm Vex, what's your name?"

"Lissa. It was nice to meet you, but I have to go now. I think I'm late!"

The girl ran off. Vex pinned her violin pin back onto her shirt and then headed back into the crowd to find her partner and his new freaky pet.

Z had always been a good Tin Pin player, ever since he first started playing the game. He was a natural at it. He played well and hard and ended up beating the kid with no struggle. "Hey, good game kid." He smiled, giving the kid a fist bump before the kid spoke. "Thanks, Z."

Z had known the kid from down the street when he was alive. He was a newspaper boy who worked right outside of his campus. "No problem Marko, see you next week." Z turned from the table and walked over to his partner, petting his cat on the head.
