POWERSIf I forgot any, please say so! Check the shops to see what extra Powers you can get.
OFFENSEPins are some powers that can be used. However, there are more that haven't been covered yet. This is probably the biggest list
Pins:
Pins are weapons that each have a different power, and they can be used in battle only. There are many different types of them. A list of all of the Pins can be found
HERE. For now, we'll talk about offensive pins. Stat Pins can be found under Defense.
Offensive Pins can do many things. Move objects, shoot fire, create traps on the ground, etc. They are used to cause damage to the enemy. You start out with one (or more if you buy them) Pin(s) of your choice, and you should probably make it an Offensive Pin so your partner doesn't have to do all of the fighting. It's good to strategize with what Pins you both have.
Objects:
Objects can be used as weapons as well, especially if they have some kind of telekinesis Pin attached to them. Check shops to find weapons that you may use. Players start off with just Pins, but they can buy more things.
Hand to Hand:
Against another character, this does work. You can erase someone by beating them up. However, attacking Noise with your bare skin will cause you to take some damage, sometimes some pretty serious damage. Be careful. A solution to this problem is to buy something to put between your skin and the Noise, such as gloves.
Surroundings:
If you throw a Noise or another character into a lamppost for example, it will take damage. The same goes for getting hit by a car. Only living people will do no damage to things in the UG, just as you cannot harm them without being in the RG.
Powers:
Check the main
SHOP for some examples of these. The shop includes some offensive powers that can be used in battle. Some you already need the Pin for.
Familiars:
Some Pins and other things will allow you to summon Noise to do your bidding. How strong it is depends on how strong you are. Experience with both the UG and the Noise will help contribute to this. One hint, strong Noise can sometimes have minds of their own. You can use this outside of battle.
Noise Form:
Some characters can become a Noise for a little while. Like Noise familiars, the strength of their Noise form depends on how experienced they are with the UG and how accustomed to the form they are. Some of the stronger Noise forms have minds of their own, so you have to have a strong mind to keep control in those forms. Noise forms depend on who you are as a person, and it is possibly to get more than one.
Looks:
Reapers and Angels automatically have wings. Other things can be bought. If your character has some kind of extra appendage, you can use it to give yourself the upper hand. But be careful not to let them become a weakness.
DEFENSEFleeing:
In any battle, you can always turn and run. The Noise may chase you, however, and if your partner doesn't notice there's a good chance they'll be erased. You won't get any Pins from the battle, and they won't count as defeated Noise because you didn't defeat them.
Dodging:
You can dodge, you can jump, you can duck, you can sidestep... Heck, if you can, levitate out of the way. Just be quick. Note: you probably shouldn't dodge too much, just to keep things fair. Get hurt every so often.
Pins:
There are some Pins that will boost your stats. Those will automatically update at the start of a battle. There are also some that can shield you from damage, at least partially.
RECOVERYPins:
Some Pins can heal you if you touch them. Others will heal you a little for the whole battle. These will heal mild injuries, and all injuries are healed at the end of a battle.
Powers:
Maybe your powers can let you regenerate health or heal others. That's cool.
