Appearance
Callie is about medium height, maybe a little on the short side. She's never minded that too much though; the girl is very confident in the way she looks. Her hair is blond and mid-length, and she usually pulls most of it back into a braid, leaving two pieces at the front hanging free. Her eyes sort of match. They're a combination of green and gold, making sort of a yellow green. Some say they're colored contacts, but no way will she admit to that.
Her most striking features are her tattoos. She's done them herself, and they look like snakes slithering over her. It's a good thing she's ambidextrous. She wants to do more of them, but isn't sure what or where just yet, and doesn't want to do anything until she knows for sure.
Her clothes are usually grey or black, but she will do dark colored tank-tops and shorts every so often. Hoodies are common for this chick. One thing is true, you will never see her in a dress and high heels of her own free will.

Personality
One word that describes Callie is determined. Once she sets her eyes on a goal, she's not straying from her path, and she'll do anything to get it. Some will call her stubborn because of this, and it's probably true. What will particularly drive her to action are her loved ones. First and foremost is her younger cousin, Lissa, who Callie mentors a lot. Second but still loved is her girlfriend Madeline, but we'll get more into them later.
However, Callie is not without her flaws. She's stubborn. She's blunt, and won't hesitate to tell you if you're being stupid. She can be a little narrow-minded when it comes to her possibly being wrong. If someone tries to tell her she's wrong, she will probably yell at them before letting herself even think that she's wrong. She will stop at nothing to keep her loved ones safe, even if it means hurting others.
This goes into some of her good qualities though. She will not give up on you. She's not the type to leave when things get tough. She won't let you give up either. Callie will encourage you as you run towards the finish line, and pull you the rest of the way there if need be. If you're talking nonsense, she'll snap you out of it. She'd be a good friend to have, if you could manage the flaws.
When she gets nervous, she rubs her arms where her tattoos are. She also tends to ramble somewhat.

Background
Callie was born in Metro City to a fairly rich family. She grew up here, happy for the most part. Her mother was very sensible for the most part, and though she didn't see her dad much, they got along okay. She finished school with average grades and after dating only one or two people, then worked on being a tattoo artist. She'd always had some decent art skills, and she loved the idea of permanent drawings on skin.
Her mom's sister had always lived down the street from her. Callie didn't really know her that well. Apparently there had been some big scandal with the sister, so Callie's mom had stopped speaking to her. Well, when she was about 16, Callie found out why. Apparently, the sister had gotten pregnant with her boyfriend's kid, and they'd later separated. The father had raised their daughter. Now, he had died somehow, and so six year old Lissa was sent to live with her mother.
Callie's aunt had no idea how to raise a child, and was still keeping a rather wild lifestyle going. So, Callie and her mom did most of it. Most nights, Lissa stayed at their house. Callie acted like the best big sister ever. The two grew very close.
After working for a small tattoo parlor and getting a lot of experience, Callie ended up starting her own parlor. She's been doing that for about a year now, and it's getting fairly popular. She still won't let Lissa get one. About the time she started her own business, she met with a lawyer for some legal stuff, and that's when she met Madeline. They quickly grew close, though the orderly Madeline was a little worried about the disorganized Callie. But then they were dating. They've fought some, but are still pretty close. They live together.
Then Callie got hit by a car. She spent one week in the Reaper's Game, playing for her life with a war veteran named Blayze. The two became close, and she lived. But she never forgot it. it made her a better person, one who understands others better and is better at teamwork.
